Gypsy de Rose Original Silk Designs
~ A Silk difference that you can SEE and FEEL ~
All Our SilKs are Hand-Painted / Hand-Dyed using Professional Fiber Reactive Silk Dyes and then are Steamed-Set, which makes them washable without color loss and maintains their silky luster.
What makes our Silks better than our competitors: There are two different methods for setting silk dyes, the steaming method, which produces the most brilliant colors and leaves the silks silky soft and the chemical set, which leaves the silk dull and stiff.The difference between silk dyes and silk paints:
Silk dyes, when set, actually chemically bond with the fiber. As a result, the 'hand' of the fiber is unchanged and the silk maintains it's natural silkiness. On the other hand, paints are pigments that are suspended in a medium; when applied, they sit on top of the fibers, and as a result, they do change the feel of the fiber and cause the silk to lose some of its silkiness.We only use Professional Fiber Reactive Silk Dyes to create our beautiful Silk designs and Steam-Set them to maintain their silky luster. Our Silks are photographed in front of plain black fabric with the only light source being the flash of the digital camera. You can see the luster of our Silks in each of the photographs.
Beware
of mass-produced silk veils sold elsewhere that may end up ruining your expensive costume. Just because a vendor claims to be a professional, doesn't mean that they create or sell professional products. Test your veil before you use it, get it wet and see if the silk dyes bleed. If it does, return it to the seller and get your money back.All Our Silks are 100% Satisfaction Guaranteed!
If you like our Silks shown in any of our designs but would prefer different colors than listed, please let us know and we can create your order to be very similar to it but in your color specifications. No two Silk designs will be exactly alike, as they are NOT mass produced. Each one is created to our customer's color specifications. Choose your colors and we will create one just for you!
