The Three-Panel 1 1/2-Circle Silk Skirts are made with THREE 1/2-Circle Panels and the Two-Panel Full-Circle Silk Skirts are made with TWO 1/2-Circle Panels, both using 10mm "Grade A" Habotia Silk from China, which is a heavier weight than our Silk Veils. This weight of Silk will provide an extended Silk-life for dancing, yet is still light enough to layer skirts for an even fuller effect.
Silk Skirts are so FULL, you can pull the sides up over your head (as shown in photo above in "Natural White") and still have plenty of Silk for spinning! These Silk Skirts are so FULL, they barely fit in my photography studio!
Silk Skirts will be available in custom hemmed lengths and you will have options of having them sewn fully closed, one side-slit left open or two side slits left open.
Silk Skirts have an adjustable elastic waistband (a small opening in the waistband allows the dancer to customize the length of the elastic in the waistband) it also allows a dancer to very simply add a drawstring, if it is their preference. (Drawstrings not included.)
