Hand-Painted Silk  and Hand-Dyed Silk-Velvet

Hand-Painted Silk and Hand-Dyed Velvet:  Hand-painted silk handkerchiefs, wall-hangings, shawls, capes, sarongs, Belly Dance veils, hip-scarves, 2-panel and 3-panel room dividers, silk and velvet scarves and more.  New Designs are currently in the Art Studio, going through the many processes of the different fabric dying techniques and steaming process to ensure colorfastness and quality long-lasting products!

Hand-Painted Silk & Velvet

Gypsy de Rose Enterprises creates custom hand-painted silk art, suitable for framing, table-top display, wall hanging or wearable art.  See the examples of hand-painted silk images to the left-hand side of the screen and below.

Each design is an "Original", there are no two exactly the same.  Below are "Samples" from larger pieces that I have been working with.  You can pick the colors that you enjoy and an "Original" can be created just for you.

These make FANTASTIC Belly Dance Head Bands!!

Just roll into a tube and tie around your head leaving fringe to dangle at the back of your neck or at side temple.  Jewels could be added in center front or silver head piece could also be added for a nice flashy touch!  An added face veil would also be great! (Face veils not currently available.)

Sample color blends:  This one reminds me of very gentle ocean waves.  It was created using only two colors that have blended to create a range of colors.  Each one is unique, there are no two exactly alike.

             Kaleidoscope

Sample color blends: This one reminds me of looking through a Kaleidoscope and seeing all the beautiful colors interchanging with each other as you rotate the Kaleidoscope.  This design used four colors and an "alcohol and salt" technique to blend the colors, creating unlimited variations of colors.  Each one is unique, there are no two exactly alike.
