~ Gypsy de Rose ~

Hello and welcome to the "About Gypsy de Rose" web page.  We wanted to include a page that would allow you, our guest, to get to know Gypsy de Rose, her background in the business industry, some of her personal and business goals and any other bit of trivia that we thought you might enjoy.

Gypsy de Rose was born in Dover, Delaware.  Her family then moved to Phoenix, Arizona and again to the Pacific Northwest, just north of Seattle, where Gypsy has been living ever since.  She was raised in a loving home and has both a brother, sister and an adorable little boy of her own.  "Even though I have a very busy schedule, I always make an effort to still have quality time to spend with my friends and my loved ones."  "Their love and support is irreplaceable."

Gypsy began her dancing career at the tender young age of eight years old.  Dancing was her life, which included Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Modern, Character and many other dance styles.  She spent six days per week in dance training and loved performing for many audiences.  As Gypsy got a little older she joined the school band where she learned to play the flute, piccolo and alto saxophone.  Singing and hand-percussion came later in her life and Gypsy now has credits as a recording artist and performer with multi-cultural music ensembles.  During Gypsy's schooling years, she studied Business Administration, Music, Dance and Art.  She enjoys doing many different things simultaneously.  So prioritizing, multi-tasking and performing well under pressure, both in business and in her personal life are just some of her strong points.

Gypsy spent many years working as an investor relations liaison for biotech pharmaceutical corporations and also working with top business executives.  She enjoyed creating corporate slide presentations and working with companies through all their different stages of growth from R&D (Research & Development) to their IPO (Initial Public stock Offering) and all the way to FDA (Food & Drug Administration) approval of their products.  Gypsy also worked closely with patent attorneys, maintaining business proprietary information and trade secrets.

"With all the years of education, both in school and on the job, I wanted to use my talents to create my own business where I could combine my love of working with people in many different ways and on many different levels."  What better way for Gypsy to do this, then to start her own business and make her talents available for others.  "I get just as excited for my clients' successes as they do."  Gypsy enjoys taking an idea and making it a reality.  "I love to see the excitement on my clients' faces when their web site gets published for the very first time, where all our hard work and preparation finally pays off and their online presence is established!"

Gypsy is now expanding her performing talents with other local musicians and performers and has been invited to perform with several new groups in the Greater Seattle area.  "I am really enjoying working with such wonderful and talented people and in collaborating our efforts in the entertainment business."

Some of Gypsy's other experiences include modeling, singing, dancing and teaching dance (her favorite dance form is Middle Eastern Dance "Belly Dance").  "I love all forms of dance, but find that Belly Dancing allows for more freedom of creativity and interpretation, which then allows me to 'become one with the music' and dance using any movements I choose to use to bring out the passion of the music within dance."  Gypsy has also worked as a certified personal trainer, teaching the importance of health and fitness within an active lifestyle.  "If you don't take good care of your health and your body, no one else is going to, so it's up to you to take charge of your life and make the best of it."  Gypsy doesn't believe in 'fad' diets, she believes in eating healthy and in appropriate portions.  "Each person is different and each person's body reacts differently to different foods and activities, so I create customized health and fitness programs to meet each client's needs on an individual basis."  "My clients achieve awesome results!"  "One of my goals for my clients is to help them to become the best that they can be, both in their business and in their personal lives."  "I set obtainable goals for myself and my clients, then when they are achieved, I set new goals and we work towards achieving those."  "I'm always reaching towards making improvements in my life, one step at a time."  "One must learn to walk before they can learn to dance."

Gypsy has studied Middle Eastern Dance from many of the local instructors in the Pacific Northwest, taken numerous workshops from instructors all over the U.S., including Suhaila Salimpour and most recently at the 2006 Middle Eastern Music & Dance Camp in Mendocino, CA, where she studied Raqs El Sharki and Egyptian Dumbek with Souhail Kaspar and Egyptian Cabaret with Jayna Kouzouyan (former Desert Rose of the Belly Dance Super Stars) and 3/4-Circle Veil with the amazing Marta Schill.

Gypsy currently teaches a BellyFit Class and a Belly Dance Basics & Beyond Class at the Ottoman Trading Co.'s Music & Dance Studio in Bothell, WA and performs with BRAVURA!

"Thank you for taking time from your busy day to get to know me a little more."  Please feel free to contact Gypsy with any questions or comments you may have.
